diff$BB is it a war between Maket maker with all Shorters? Two sides will pay high cost for result.
Shorters may fall in trap at arround 4.0 - 4.2 price but they keep possition in hope that trend will go down. No one Jump down now ultil Liquidation. live or die only because they do not prepare for the quickly rising price. This may be a lesson to cut loss earlier (accept a fix loss in possition).
Market makers may face in different stuation as shorters or not? I Think YES.
