Aqua, an NFT market focusing on the Web3 gaming sector, officially announced that it has officially ceased operations. Sean Ryan, CEO of Aqua and former vice president of Facebook, said in an open letter that Aqua had initially partnered with blockchain companies such as Immutable and Polygon Labs to provide a game NFT market and white-glove embedded solutions for game developers, but as the overall growth of the Web3 gaming industry fell short of expectations and the company encountered difficulties in financing, it decided to cease operations.
