Proton: We are very excited to announce that the Proton Alliance has approved a grant for the unique project “Mastering ProtonFu”. This funding is a huge boost for both the Proton Developer Program and the Proton blockchain community.

 

Mastering ProtonFu Project

"Mastering ProtonFu" is a groundbreaking project that aims to bridge the knowledge gap in the Proton developer ecosystem. As the blockchain space continues to expand, developers often feel overwhelmed and need to digest a large amount of information. ProtonFu solves this challenge by providing a comprehensive learning platform that covers the full range of Proton tools and libraries.

Rémy Chauveau, the initiator of the ProtonFu project, envisioned a platform that would allow both novice and experienced developers to transform their ideas into final products. By providing in-depth tutorials related to Proton's unique ecosystem - from basic installation and tool usage to advanced techniques - "Mastering ProtonFu" aims to be a complete learning package, ensuring that every Proton developer becomes a master of the technology .

Additionally, the code base for all dApp frontends and smart contracts will be open source and available on Github.

The project’s target audience ranges from novice developers to experienced developers who want to gain a deeper understanding of the Proton ecosystem. Currently, there are no similar projects on the Proton blockchain, making “Mastering ProtonFu” a unique learning platform among the community.

“Mastering ProtonFu” will effectively increase the Proton blockchain developer base and pave the way for many innovative projects on the platform. This important step will ensure that Proton maintains its position as one of the best developer ecosystems in the blockchain space.

 

Roadmap and Milestones

The project follows a structured roadmap divided into four key milestones:

  • Pre-production: This phase involves content planning and production of visual materials.

  • Production: Main stage, video shooting for each subject.

  • Post-production: This includes video editing, ensuring the final product is engaging and informative.

  • Dedicated Platform: Create a platform that organizes videos into super topics like CLI, Frontend, Backend, and Smart Contracts.

Rémy’s planned future includes constantly adding content, tips and tricks, and discovering new things on the Proton blockchain. He also plans to consider creating a certification program through smart contracts by introducing a question-and-answer system and incentivizing certified users.

Rémy Chauveau, also known as RockerOne, is a Belgian product manager, full-stack developer and digital artist. He has over 20 years of experience in the digital world and a deep passion for blockchain development and digital art. Rémy’s day-to-day work revolves around the Proton blockchain, and his dedication to enhancing the Proton ecosystem is commendable.

With his extensive knowledge and skills, Rémy is the perfect person to turn the “Mastering ProtonFu” project into reality. His previous work on the Proton blockchain includes projects such as Snipverse, 5FHC and the ongoing HyperSolid.
