The U.S. Department of Justice has charged Dmitry Khoroshev, the leader of the LockBit ransomware gang, with fraud and extortion and offered a $10 million reward for his capture.
Khoroshev is accused of extorting $500 million since 2019 and faces up to 185 years in prison.
