Cross the Ages is a turn-based trading card game. The mechanics are simple enough for anyone to pick up but complex enough to keep you coming back for more. You’ll be tasked with building decks that are strong enough to capture opposing cards and build your own deck’s power value.

When you put a card that is adjacent to an opponent’s card, your card will try to capture the opponent’s card. The attack is automatically initiated against every eligible adjacent card simultaneously. Your attack is based on the power and the elements of your card.

If your attack is successful, you will claim ownership of the card/s. Depending on your chain counter, the new card/s will then attempt a capture.

It also has an interesting mechanic: if two allied cards share an affinity, their power values will be boosted by one. This gives you some options for strategy if you’ve got strong allies that can neutralize powerful enemies or help with capturing opposing cards.
The Affinity system allows you to boost the power value of the cards you own if they’re next to an allied card that shares an affinity with them — and that can make all the difference!
We’re quite enthusiastic about Cross the Ages and the future of web3 gaming, to sum up. The game is fun, and it’s a terrific method to introduce people to the concept of web3. If you’re looking for a new deck-building game to play, look no further than Cross the Ages.
