Although Strike has expanded its services to 100 countries around the world, the company is still committed to exploring new markets and plans to support more currencies in the future.
Strike, a well-known US-based crypto payments company, has finally launched its much-anticipated service in Europe.
According to Wednesday’s announcement, these services are currently restricted in certain countries across Europe. However, users in eligible countries can now buy, sell, deposit and withdraw funds through the platform.
Strike enters some European countries
The company has made it simple for customers to check the availability of its apps in their region by simply visiting the iOS and Android app stores.
Eligible users can now purchase Bitcoin (BTC) directly using Euro deposits through SEPA, a European payment service provider established by the European Union. SEPA was established to facilitate Euro transfers across Europe, making it easier and more efficient for users to conduct Euro transactions across Europe.
Strike said recipients will have the option to receive assets in euros denominated in Bitcoin (BTC) or, in certain regions, in Tether’s stablecoin USDT.
As a crypto payment application built on the Bitcoin blockchain, Strike allows users to acquire the industry’s leading cryptocurrency at relatively low fees.
Since its founding in the United States in 2020, the company has expanded its services to Africa and now Europe to serve a diverse client base outside of the U.S. market.
Strike sees Europe as an important potential market for the popularization of Bitcoin applications.
The company said, "As the world’s third-largest economy with over 440 million residents, Europe presents a huge opportunity for Bitcoin adoption. As the leading Bitcoin-only app, we believe Strike is uniquely positioned to meet the needs of the millions of people who want to gain access to Bitcoin in Europe."
Provide comprehensive products for European customers
Strike said it is bringing all of its products to the European market, meaning users will not be limited to crypto payments.
Eligible users will also have access to the company’s Bitcoin and Lightning wallets, the ability to schedule recurring purchases, and global remittance options to supported countries in Africa, such as Nigeria, Ghana, and Benin.
Users will also be able to send remittances to other regions such as the Philippines, Mexico, and Vietnam. In addition, they will benefit from services such as peer-to-peer (P2P) transactions and free on-chain withdrawals.
Strike said the European app will also accept applications from businesses for all their encryption needs. Individual and business customers will receive the same service.
The US-based payments app plans to open its Strike API to customers in eligible countries who want to automate their transactions on the app.
Future plan
Although Strike has expanded its services to 100 countries around the world, the company is still committed to exploring new markets and plans to support more currencies in the future.
Strike said, "We will continue to enter new markets, support more currencies, add payment methods, expand our service range, and continuously improve the user experience."
The company's commitment to innovation and growth means its global footprint and service offerings will continue to evolve to meet changing user needs. #Strike #加密支付
