The possibility that the next bull market will be the last is a question widely circulated in the cryptocurrency community. I can understand this situation.
Thinking that the next bull market might be the last puts you in a "speed up" mode.
Let me share my opinion:
Many people believe that the massive speculative boom affecting cryptocurrencies is a bad thing, as people always view the industry as a short-term gambling game.
In my opinion, there is a positive side to speculation.
People get into cryptocurrencies mainly to make money from small investments.
Many people fail and leave the field.
Others became enthusiastic and contributed to the technology in each bubble, fueling the industry's growth.
As a result, speculation drives interest and attracts new funding and personnel.
The awareness curve has been trending upward since the early days of this new industry, albeit a bumpy road.
But we can't expect this 100x game to continue forever.
If the speculation aspect is important, from an adoption perspective we have made very little progress.
This problem must be solved.
How to solve it?
Although controversial, regulation plays a key role.
The public is actually afraid to accept cryptocurrencies alone, and whether we like it or not, they trust governments and institutions.
All the developments we have seen in recent times (exchange prosecutions, ETF demands, MiCA, etc.) have paved the way for regulation.
But regulating and innovating such a complex industry takes time.
It takes a lot of time.
So will the next bull market be the last?
This is really hard to answer.
As I said, we have institutions trying to regulate the world, but not in the right way.
Most of the time, they block innovation rather than provide resources to facilitate development, which slows down adoption.
Scalability issues, complex products, blockchain integration in everyday life…
If you take that into account, we're only 5% done.
Until your non-crypto friends continue to think the world is a scam, we will always be in speculation.
What I'm sure of is we're going to have another huge bubble.
This is the most important.
We should focus on seizing the opportunity and staying focused rather than wondering if this will be the last time.
