Ripple Scam Warnings
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), the Ripple team issued an urgent warning to members of the XRP community, informing them that neither Ripple nor its affiliated executives and employees will ever ask members to send them XRP. The team set out to compile a comprehensive article on the dangers of cryptocurrency scams, highlighting common scams investors encounter and how to protect yourself from scammers.
“Ripple is deeply committed to combating these frauds and we take a proactive and aggressive stance against cryptocurrency fraud,” the team said.
Shedding light on how Ripple is currently helping to mitigate XRP fraud, the team revealed that it is actively working with third-party experts to scan the network for potential fraud. Additionally, they alerted multiple social media platforms and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of any scams they encountered.
