Kuwait 🇰🇼 bans Bitcoin and Altcoin transactions. Kuwait 🇰🇼 has banned all cryptocurrencies transactions, including Bitcoin and altcoins, due to the Anti-Money Laundering Law. The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) issued a directive on July 18 prohibiting major use cases and transactions, including payments, investments, and mining. Local regulators cannot grant licenses for virtual asset services. Securities and other financial instruments are exempt from the ban.
