To protect its users, Ripple has hired an external cybersecurity and digital threat intelligence vendor to assist with reporting and takedown efforts. Additionally, Ripple encourages XRP holders to use tools such as Google Safe Browsing and wallet plugins like Metamask and Coinbase to receive warnings when visiting potentially dangerous websites or interacting with scam sites.
