The altcoins on the market are roughly divided into four categories:

The first category is "yesterday's flowers". This type of altcoin appeared earlier, the topic seems a bit outdated, and the scalability is relatively limited. ETC, FIL, BSV, etc. belong to this category. It is expected that by 2025, their prices may not reach the high point of 2021.

The second category can be called "standard". These altcoins have appeared before 2021, have a certain market share, and the project parties are still actively operating and developing. For example, ATOM, CRV, MATIC, etc. belong to this category. Their price trend may be consistent with the market, and the total market value may also increase by 1-2 times.

The third category is "future stars". Most of these altcoins appeared in 2021 and later. They represent advanced productivity and future development directions. ARB, OP, SUI, etc. are representatives of this category. Their upper limit may be higher than the standard altcoins, and they have great potential to shine in the bull market.

The last category, I call it "Dark Horse Prince". These altcoins are expected to appear between 2022 and 2025. Although they are not yet part of the mainstream narrative, they may gradually enter the mainstream vision, and there is considerable room for subsequent development. Of course, they also have the risk of dying, which mainly depends on whether they can become the mainstream narrative and continue to maintain their popularity. ORDI, BLUR, etc. are potential dark horses.

As a prudent investor, my main positions will be placed on the second and third categories of altcoins, and I will also try to pay attention to the fourth category, and try to avoid investing in the first category.
