Cryptocurrency scams: Proxy purchase scams
When a stranger chats with you privately and asks if you are willing to do USDT purchasing, don't hesitate to block him directly. Because he will cheat like this:
Ask you to buy u on his behalf, give you 10% commission, and promise to pay you first. He will ask you to deposit u into the OKX web3 wallet and take a screenshot for him to see, and then he will ask you to transfer 1u to him, saying that it is to test whether the account can be transferred.
Then, he will send you a payment link. Note here: If you click in and think it is just a transfer of 1u, and click authorization, then congratulations, your wallet is already his.
There are also those strangers who ask you to borrow a few u, which seems to be begging, but it is actually a similar scam. In general, don't click on any unknown link of the web3 wallet!
