EOS native inscriptions have attracted much attention for their high transaction performance, with the potential to far exceed EOS EVM by at least five times. Coupled with its extremely low transaction costs, this makes EOS native inscriptions the preferred choice for traditional data recording and special inscription methods.
Compared with EVM-based networks, EOS native inscriptions have a unique storage mechanism that can store inscriptions in an innovative way without the need for off-chain indexers. The Greymass team is actively exploring how to use these characteristics of EOS native inscriptions to develop innovative methods of writing data to RAM.
RAMS was originally a RAM-based inscription project, and it is a project that continues to evolve based on community feedback. The project's development history is very active, and the community actively provides various ideas. As the price of RAM rises, the RAMS project has received more and more attention, leading to proposals for features such as native chain inscription exchanges and RAM trading markets. Currently, the focus is on integrating RAMS with BTC L2 solutions on EOS.
The minting of RAMS has been completed overdue, and the continued development of the project and the active role of holders in shaping its future are also ongoing. You can check out the original RAMS Scriber, or use the alternative RAMS Minter built by Wharf.
