Duke Web3 Conference
Duke Web3 Conference is a prestigious event that brings together experts, academics, and industry leaders from the Web3 sphere to delve into cutting-edge technologies such as blockchain, cryptocurrencies, DeFi and decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePIN). This year, the conference focused on Zero Knowledge Proofs, Real World Asset Tokenization and shared how these innovations will pave the way for the resurgence. It also explored initial use cases in gaming and art, bridging the physical and digital worlds, and featured insights from DDuke Founders and VCs on the latest trends.
CESS is honored to join a panel with renowned consultancy PwC and global asset management firm T. Rowe Price at this conference. Co-founder & Network Security Architect Joseph from CESS shared insights on DePIN’s rapid market growth, attributing it to the alignment with market trends and technological decentralization. DePIN, offering efficiency, security, and user empowerment, matches these trends, fostering market expansion.
As part of the DePIN ecosystem, CESS contributes innovative solutions to decentralized storage and CDN, enhancing data security, availability, and privacy, and has collaborated with notable projects in Web3 and Web2 domains like AWS and Polkadot, continuing to support DePIN’s growth. The DW3C conference featured notable Web3 companies as speakers, attracting a diverse audience of students, Web3 enthusiasts, and professionals. Hosted at Duke University, CESS not only participated in panel discussions but also showcased its projects on campus, engaging attendees with demonstrations.
Students who visited the CESS booth at last year’s Duke University DW3C conference reconnected with CESS at other events in the US this year. This ongoing engagement not only shows their continued interest in CESS’s technology, but also reflects the good reputation CESS has built in academic and tech circles.
This year’s DW3C offered another opportunity for exchange, reuniting with old friends and meeting new ones, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas that inspire CESS. These interactions showcase CESS’s advancements in Web3 and help understand university students’ needs, driving innovation.
