Drag, Drop, and Create: Cardano's User-Friendly Marlowe DSL Empowers a New Generation of Smart Contract Programmers
A new update with the domain-specific language (DSL) #Marlowe has been implemented by #Cardano the cryptocurrency network developed by Charles Hoskinson, co-founder of Ethereum.
Activation within the Cardano mainnet was performed this May 30 early morning, as confirmed by the official Marlowe account, noting that the development team had been working on this upgrade since June 2022, as noted on the official Github.
Unlike a traditional #programming language for smart contract programming, such as #Solidity, Marlowe offers a graphical interface, allowing users to create smart contracts through pre-programmed modules. This opens up the possibility for more people to create and audit their own contracts in ADA.
Cardano shared the official documentation on how to use Marlowe for smart contract development. Users only need to drag and drop the different modules that make up their contract, without any syntax.
