WHAT IS SUBSEASON AND HOW IS IT DETECTED?
You've probably heard this term before, but you may not fully understand it. Read carefully and pay attention as it is a very important concept in crypto.
An alt season is an “alt season”: essentially, a period during which altcoins will rise rapidly and outperform BTC by a significant margin. It is highly recommended to keep altcoins in your portfolio during the altseason. But most importantly, it is preferable to hold altcoins that have not yet exploded: they will have much greater growth potential than $SHIB , $SOL or others.
How does subseason work in practice?
Subseasons occur when Bitcoin is not moving much and volatility is low. During these periods, investor capital will flow more into altcoins because interest in Bitcoin will decrease: Remember that the market is stupid and impatient, so people prefer to go where the action is rather than where they should wait.
To observe this phenomenon you need to look at Bitcoin Dominance (BTC.D on TradingView): this chart shows you Bitcoin's share of the total market cap of the crypto market. The lower it is, the better altcoins will perform against Bitcoin and vice versa.
In our experience, subseasons last about 3 weeks and there are several in bull markets. So your goal is to position yourself in altcoins before these altcoins by trying to predict altcoins using Bitcoin Dominance.
