El Salvador's One Bitcoin a Day Program Continues

El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele shared an update on El Salvador's 1 Bitcoin a Day program on social media platform X on Friday.

The 1 Bitcoin a Day program was launched in November 2022 when Bukele announced that El Salvador would purchase one Bitcoin daily starting November 18, 2022. On Friday, he provided an update on the program, saying El Salvador will continue to buy bitcoin daily "until bitcoin becomes unavailable for fiat currencies." He also said that the last BTC from the program was deposited into an El Salvadoran address, which recently received "most" of the country's Bitcoin stash.
