Members of the 'fan' community of this digital asset want to give greater visibility to their favorite cryptocurrency.

Taking advantage of the enthusiasm surrounding the rise of bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins, the Dogwifhat (WIF) community, the cryptocurrency meme that embodies a “little dog” wearing a pink hat, wants to bring the image of that asset to La Las Vegas sphere.

Since last Sunday, a donation website was enabled, in which the activists of the project, which was created on the Solana blockchain, have raised almost half of the money needed for the WIF image to be placed on The Sphere, for a week.

Of the USD 650,000 required to “place a hat on The Sphere”, as the statement on the page says, USD 303,532 has been raised (at the time of publishing this story). This is seen on the website.

Donations are made in USD Coin (USDC), the stable cryptocurrency pegged to the US dollar. And the funds go directly to wallets controlled by five people.

On-chain data shows that donations to the Dogwifhat initiative range from USD 1 to USD 10,000, depending on the bidder. The hype is so much that donations do not stop arriving in the project's wallet, a clear demonstration that the community wants to see the image of the meme cryptocurrency on The Las Vegas Sphere.

La Esfera is an entertainment venue opened last year in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. In it, some 18,600 souls can enjoy live concerts and other shows. The striking thing about the structure is precisely its giant spherical dome, which can be seen from several meters away and which can be rented to display any type of advertising.

In that sense, meme cryptocurrency enthusiasts want to carry the image of that asset in order to give greater visibility to the project that, little by little, has penetrated the cryptoasset ecosystem.
