😮💨 Today I attended an AMA session with Bryan Pellegrino CEO of LayerZero0️⃣
A short summary of the important things:
1️⃣ Question about sibils on LayerZero [multi-accounting].
- Bryan believes that now in the protocol, 50%+ of users are real and that most transactions are NOT made by sybils. Why this conclusion? He sees that transaction volumes are more or less normal.
▪️My comment is that we are driving the volumes as normal, the LayerZero team will most likely take this into account.
2️⃣ Question about Stargate V2.0 (essentially the main LayerZero application).
- Bryan replied that we need to wait a few months, but did not give an exact time frame.
▪️My comment - roughly speaking, 2-6 months, perhaps users who used Stargate V1.0 will be considered “early users” and will fall under the drop/receive a multiplier.
3️⃣ About the ZRO token.
- Bryan replied that before the launch of the token, the project team will definitely publish a document where they will talk about the utility of the token/tokenomics in more detail, the document is still far from being completed.
▪️My comment is essentially information in favor of the fact that there has not been a snapshot yet (of course NOT a fact).
4️⃣ Question about Airdrop of tokens.
- Bryan answered with a grin: no comment.
▪️My comment - in fact, the LayerZero/Stargate team and Bryan personally quite often boast about the crazy volumes and growth of LayerZero/Stargate on their Twitter. He is often reproached that most of the users are sybils.
😮💨 It would be a great move on his part to arrange an airdrop for users (shaving off 40%+ of the so-called “sybils”). With this move, he will prove to the community and investors that the protocol is really used by a huge number of people.
