Hello all speculators. In this post I will tell the story of the mistakes that I made as a result of which my deposit hangs by a thread. It all started with $9. I decided to grow it to 1000 by trading futures.

The beginning of the journey was promising, as the PM and the volume of entry into the trade were observed. The strategy is simple, increase the depth by any amount of %... Regularity always gives results. And since the PNL is scanty, it did not cause any emotional disturbances. It grows and grows. One trade per deposit, no more... I did not use stops, since the entry implied the absence of a liquidation price. Local shorts to a minimum, but also on small corrections I made a profit, I noticed that the global trend is bullish. If there were cases when the price did not go in my direction, I simply waited out these movements and either broke even or, with a good movement, received my coveted percentage of the deep. The human factor played a cruel joke on me, I went short on the cue ball at a 1% drop with 125 leverage at a local correction in the area of 45,000. The deal immediately went differently, well, I think it will grow back as it was before, and I left it overnight. And the next morning the fight against greed began.

In the morning my entire deposit was in the red by 45%. Not suspecting any catch, I began to wait for growth in order to average my position before the next correction. Oh, if only I had understood then where this slippery slope was leading😂. When the price of the cue ball rose to 53,000 and entered a protracted range, at some point, having read and watched all sorts of materials about the mandatory correction and the probabilities that are about to work, I averaged out, increasing the size of the bet by 4 times. But, it didn’t make it to the saving correction, TVX ended up at 49,500, to which the price never dropped but flew up.

Now I threw in the last $50 and my liquidation is at 66000-65900. There is very little left with such a positive market. If I’m lucky and Bitcoin goes from the current ones to a correction to my TVX, then I’m saved. In any case, the experience is colossal, and I hope this story will help someone draw the right conclusions in a difficult situation and make a better decision. My greed not to lose $50 resulted in me depositing $200 and it still didn’t help, can you imagine? More than 4 times than the initial deposit and did not correct the situation... Therefore, the withdrawal is better to lose a less significant amount than to lose everything trying to correct the mistake... You can always start again, having a reserve. This is such a simple situation, who liked it from you 👍. Thank you all for your attention.
