Blockchain analysis company Elliptic released a report saying that the vulnerability of the crypto gaming platform PlayDapp has caused great losses. On February 9, an unauthorized wallet address minted 200 million PLA tokens worth $36.5 million. Shortly after the incident, PlayDapp sent a message to the attacker through an on-chain transaction, demanding the return of the stolen funds and providing a $1 million white hat reward, but the negotiations ultimately failed. On February 12, the hacker minted another 1.59 billion PLA tokens worth $253.9 million and began to transfer them through cryptocurrency trading platforms.
