👀According to the data provided by the analysis company Arkham Intelligence, the German government has been unable to seize a total of 45,000 Bitcoin (5 billion USD) from the notorious Movie2K scam site. If the analysis is accurate, the operators behind Movie2K still have access to a significant amount of cryptocurrency assets.

The sale of Bitcoin by Saxony

🤗Saxony, a state in eastern Germany, sold a total of 50,000 Bitcoin last year after seizing them from the notorious scam site.

The sale has drawn strong opposition from the Bitcoin community, and the sale turned out to be poorly timed in hindsight, as the price of the leading cryptocurrency has risen sharply since then.

Untouched reserve

🤗Now, Arkham claims to have identified another untouched reserve of a similar size. At current prices, it is worth more than what the German government liquidated.

The coins are hidden in a total of 100 wallets, and it is still unclear whether the German government (or the state of Saxony, to be more precise) actually completely missed these coins or not.

🚨It remains to be seen whether Saxony will attempt to seize these Bitcoins in the future if Arkham's analysis is indeed correct.
