Pakistan's Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has issued a critical warning about a new scam targeting residents in major cities like Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore. Fraudsters are impersonating FIA officials to trick people!

How the Scam Works:

  1. Fake Calls: You receive a call from someone claiming to be an FIA officer.

  2. Threats: They will threaten you, saying you are wanted in a case related to the FIA Cybercrime Act or a Terrorism Case, and demand that you "surrender" at an FIA center.

  3. Fake Documents: They may send you a fake FIR (First Information Report) copy via WhatsApp with your name on it to make the scam seem legitimate.

  4. Phishing Links: They will ask you to click a link to "fill out a form" and collect your personal data. 🔗

  5. In-person Threats: In some cases, they might even threaten to come to your house or office to "deliver" the FIR.

❌ A Simple Rule: REMEMBER, IT'S A SCAM!

✅ What to Do:

  • DO NOT click on any links they send you.

  • NEVER share your personal details or documents.

  • IGNORE their instructions and threats.

  • DO NOT agree to meet them anywhere.

This is a malicious attempt to steal your information and money. Share this with your friends and family to keep them safe from this scam! 🔒
