🇺🇸🧐 The collection of disastrous failures of the U.S. against drug trafficking in Latin America

Since Richard Nixon in the 70s, the 'war on drugs' has not reduced the problem. According to the UN, today there are more substances, cheaper and more potent.

Trump resumed the military approach with deployments in the Caribbean, although experience shows that these policies only increase violence:

Plans and scandals

🇨🇴 Colombia Plan: The operation prioritized military assistance, but only strengthened Colombia's dependence, which remains the leading country in coca cultivation.

🇲🇽 Fast and Furious (Mexico): As a result of this U.S. operation, more than 2,000 weapons ended up in the hands of cartels.

🇵🇪 Peru: The "vladivideos" exposed links between the CIA, Montesinos, and drug trafficking.

After five decades, Washington's strategies have not eliminated the cartels but have instead strengthened criminal organizations and drug-related violence.

Just as they fostered, financed, and strengthened terrorist groups in Asia and the Middle East to use them for their convenience, they do the same with drug gangs, using them as a pretext for any wrongdoing in our area. In fact, the largest drug cartel by far is the DEA, masquerading as a protective angel!!

🇨🇴 🇺🇲 The world upside down: Colombia, the largest drug producer in the world, and the U.S., the largest consumer, are great allies, and they use that infamy against Venezuela, which they themselves don't even believe, just to seek to overthrow the Venezuelan government to have a free route for the drug trade that they have been combating, in addition to their great intention of seizing all of Venezuela's riches.
