3. **Limited supply**. The number of Bitcoins is strictly limited to **21 million**. This deficit is embedded in the code and is its key economic model (the deflationary model). This is the main difference from traditional fiat money, which central banks can print indefinitely.
4. **You can buy less than the whole**. You don't need to buy a whole Bitcoin. since BTC is divided up to 8 decimal places. The smallest unit (0.00000001 BTC) is called "satoshi" in honor of the creator.
