The global market for tokenized assets under management (AUM) has reached a historic high of $270 billion, according to Token Terminal. This sector, which includes digital currencies, treasury bonds, private loans, stocks, and venture capital, is growing due to the interest of institutional investors. The main driver has been the use of blockchain to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of financial instruments.

$ETH dominates, controlling over 55% of the market, where the leading assets are the stablecoins USDT and USDC, as well as the tokenized fund BlackRock BUIDL, created with Securitize. Since 2024, the capitalization of real-world tokenized assets (RWA) has increased by more than $100 billion, and the market for tokenized stocks has reached $403 million. Analysts predict that by 2035, the tokenized real estate segment could reach $4 trillion.

The integration of RWA with DeFi protocols such as Euler Finance, and the growth of platforms like xStocks, confirm the potential of tokenization. However, experts emphasize the need for clear regulation for sustainable development.
