Succinct is a blockchain endeavor focused on simplifying zero-knowledge proofs. Zero-knowledge proofs are a technology that allows blockchains to confirm transactions or data without revealing details—merging privacy and efficiency.
The project's flagship tool SP1 is a zero-knowledge virtual machine (zkVM) that enables developers to write ZKP using Rust. Rust is a programming language that is easier to understand than the typical cryptocurrency (Succinct, 2025b). In addition to SP1, Succinct is also building a decentralized prover network, which is a system where anyone can participate in generating these proofs, making the process more open and scalable.
