Peter Thiel Invests in ETHZILLA, Promoting ETH Storage

🔹 Tech billionaire and PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel has just acquired a 7.5% stake in 180 Life Sciences, a biotech company that has pivoted to Ethereum and rebranded as ETHZilla.

🔹 Just weeks ago, Thiel and the founders' fund purchased a 9.1% stake in BitMine, a company chaired by Tom Lee (Fundstrat), which currently holds over $5 billion in ETH and plans to raise another $20 billion to acquire more.

🔹 Thiel has been interested in Ethereum for a long time, having sponsored $100,000 to Vitalik Buterin in 2014 for the development of the protocol.

🔹 Peter Thiel has a deep investment history in the cryptocurrency space, having invested in Bullish, Bitpanda, Ethereum Layer 2 Layer N, and Polymarket.
