DeFi Rating Tools and Systems

1. DeFi Pulse Economic Safety Grade

A developing tool launched by DeFi Pulse in collaboration with Gauntlet, allowing the assessment of risk for depositors, including potential insolvency.

It takes into account the volatility of collateral, relative liquidity, user behavior, and protocol parameters.

In alpha version, two major protocols, Aave and Compound, have already received high ratings (95 and 91 out of 100, respectively), indicating a "very safe" profile.

2. Credora – Risk Ratings for vaults

A recent initiative that offers probabilistic risk assessments for specific vaults (like Morpho).

These ratings show an institutional approach: the risk assessment incorporates collateral categories, market dynamics, and the specifics of each vault.

An A+ score is designed to reflect serious analysis based on default simulations.

3. DeFiSafety – Protocol Quality Review (PQR)

This service evaluates DeFi protocols according to a structured methodology: documentation, security, testing, audits, administration control, use of oracles, etc.

For example, Inverse Finance received a score of 87, the result of significant efforts in documentation, audits, security, and risk management.

4. DeFiScan – Measuring the Level of Decentralization

This tool analyzes to what extent a protocol is truly decentralized, based on five essential criteria (ownership, documentation, source code, verified contracts, etc.).
