The chart shows that almost all mainstream public chains have a history of 'going down' in the last three years, especially Solana, which has experienced multiple outages lasting several hours and even over 8 hours.
We all know that when on-chain protocols and asset trading are paused, it means the foundation of trust is shaken, especially for high-frequency interaction scenarios like DeFi, RWA, and blockchain games, this is a fatal blow.
So, the biggest beneficiaries of such events are precisely the Ethereum main chain (ETH L1), known for being 'stable as an old dog.' This is also the main reason I firmly supported it when everyone was FUDing Ethereum in the bear market, feeling that $ETH was not viable—
The ETH main chain has never gone down due to system reasons. It is not the fastest or cheapest chain, but it is the most reliable and secure infrastructure—this is extremely important for institutions and large funds!
