Personal Observations and Insights on Missing Binance Airdrops

Recently, I've seen many friends complaining about the difficulty of grabbing airdrops, especially being stuck by 'facial recognition' or encountering various error messages. I'm sharing my experiences and thoughts, hoping to provide some reference for everyone.

1. Early Experiences: Relatively Smooth

During the '140 points first come, first served' period, I hardly encountered situations requiring facial recognition.

At that time, grabbing airdrops felt quite smooth, with a high success rate.

2. After Mechanism Changes: Facing Difficulties

After Binance changed the mechanism to 'Risk Pre-check + Slider', the situation changed significantly.

Almost every time I tried to grab an airdrop, I triggered the facial pre-check, and frequently encountered error messages, leading to failure.

I tried various methods mentioned in the forum (increasing internet speed, clearing phone memory, etc.), but none were effective.

3. Key Turning Point: Changes After Points Accumulation (August 5-7)

When my points were forced to accumulate to over 250 points (on August 5), the situation improved significantly:

August 5: Successfully grabbed the first-tier airdrops of `$TOWNS` and `$PROVE`, both being spot projects. Key point: Neither time did I trigger facial recognition, and I succeeded directly.

August 6: Grabbed `$FIR`. Although I did a facial pre-check in advance, the process was smooth after completing the slider.

August 7:

`$IN`: Completely no need for facial recognition, clicked pre-check and passed directly, successfully grabbed it.

`$X`: Pre-check passed directly, but after completing the slider, it requested facial recognition again, ultimately failed to grab it.

4. My Core Views and Suggestions

There may be a distribution mechanism: Based on the significant changes in my own experience (especially after high points, the success rate increased sharply and facial recognition was rarely used), I speculate that Binance likely has an internal user screening or quota distribution mechanism. This may comprehensively consider factors such as user activity, points, historical participation, risk level, etc.

Don't be discouraged if you can't grab it now: If you can't grab it temporarily, don't be disheartened. My experience shows that even in temporary difficulties, persistence in accumulation still provides opportunities.

Keep grinding for points, the key is to continuously accumulate first-tier points. When the points (or comprehensive system evaluation) reach a certain threshold, the experience may improve. #wct $WCT
