How I Built My First Crypto Portfolio with Just $10 — A Beginner’s Guide
Getting started with crypto doesn’t require thousands of dollars — I started with just $10.
In this post, I’ll share how I built my first portfolio on Binance using small amounts, the coins I chose, and what I learned in the process.
🔹 Step 1: Open a Binance Account & Get Verified
Took me 5 minutes. I also enabled 2FA for security.
🔹 Step 2: Deposit or Convert to USDT
I used P2P to deposit PKR and converted to USDT.
🔹 Step 3: Coin Selection
I split my $10 like this:
• $5 in SOL (strong ecosystem and growth)
• $3 in BTC (long-term value)
• $2 in a meme coin (for fun + learning risk)
🔹 Step 4: Set Limit Orders
Instead of buying instantly, I placed limit orders slightly below current prices. It taught me patience and better pricing.
🔹 Step 5: Track & Learn
I used Binance’s portfolio tracker and price alerts. I also followed Binance Learn for tips.
💡 What I Learned:
• Start small but stay consistent.
• Learn before investing big.
• Use features like Spot Grid, Simple Earn, and Auto-Invest gradually.
