In a historic development, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs has issued its first-ever international ferry service licence to Sea Keepers. This allows the company to begin operations connecting Pakistan with Iran and GCC countries via sea routes. The licence was approved in a high-level Licensing Committee meeting that brought together officials from the ministries of Maritime Affairs, Defence, Foreign Affairs, and Interior, along with key representatives from national shipping authorities.

This move is expected to significantly improve regional connectivity, boost maritime trade, and provide an alternative travel option for passengers across the region. It signals a new chapter in Pakistan’s maritime landscape by strengthening economic and cultural ties with neighboring countries.
