Crypto is not just about making quick money – but a journey that changed the way I view finance.
I am not an expert, nor did I study finance or IT. I am just an ordinary person, curious about terms like “blockchain,” “bitcoin,” “digital currency”… and then one day, I started to explore on my own.
At first, it was a few YouTube videos. Then came hours of reading whitepapers, browsing CoinMarketCap, learning about market capitalization, volume, cold wallets, and tokenomics. I once didn’t understand what “staking” meant, and lost a few hundred thousand just because I mistakenly clicked a button while using a decentralized wallet.
I once bought coins out of FOMO. I once “chased the peak.” I once saw prices drop -70% and wondered: “What am I doing?”
I was once scolded by family for being a dreamer. But I didn’t stop. Because the more I learned, the more I saw that crypto is not just investment – it is an entire ecosystem of future technology. A financial revolution the world has never seen before.
I explored little by little:
– Created a wallet on MetaMask
– Traded on the first DEX
– Understood gas fee mechanisms
– DCA into BTC and ETH
– Read the roadmap of small projects
– Learned how to avoid scams, rug pulls, pump & dumps
I once thought “buying coins means being rich,” now I understand “holding knowledge is the weapon.”
I don’t have much capital, but I have time and patience. I don’t need to get rich quickly – I need to understand where I am stepping into.
Crypto taught me to manage risks, control emotions, and plan finances.
