However, it warns investors not to expect explosive gains due to XRP’s large $170 billion market cap, recommending a focus on steady, long-term growth instead.
The piece acknowledges that stablecoins may be more efficient for transfers but notes that RLUSD, a stablecoin on the same network as XRP, could indirectly benefit XRP. Still, RLUSD mostly operates on Ethereum.
The article stirred backlash from Bitcoin maximalists online. Although USA Today didn’t write it, the article was shared via its site and social media, which has over 5 million followers.
