In a new chat on the Tubarão da Bolsa channel on YouTube titled 'Would You Know How to Live Without the System', Luan Onofre welcomed Engineer Leo and Julio Manna to talk on Tuesday (29). During the debate, they even remembered Daniel Fraga, a pioneer of bitcoin on Google's video social network.

This is because they started discussing how cheap bitcoin is and remembered that those who bought it in the beginning today 'laugh alone'. Historical data of bitcoin prices show that in 2013, for example, 1 BTC cost just over a thousand dollars.

Julio Manna, survivalist YouTuber from the Prepers BR channel, started the topic by responding that Brazilian preppers are still skeptical about bitcoin. 'There are people who make parallels between bitcoin and tiger games and pyramids, it has nothing to do with it,' he recalled.

Remembering the scarcity of bitcoin and its immutable and decentralized technology, the YouTuber also pointed out that the price above $120,000 is still cheap.

Engineer Leo said he has already exchanged messages with Daniel Fraga and regrets not having bought bitcoin in the past

At this point, Engineer Leo entered the debate and said that YouTuber Biologist Henrique, the snake biologist, acquired bitcoin and with the profits was able to buy his house. Leo also remembered when he talked with Daniel Fraga, but focused on political and libertarian topics, not about bitcoin.

'I was the fool for not buying. And look, I have a video with Daniel Fraga and didn’t buy Bitcoin. I recorded with him, but I never heard him talk about Bitcoin. If I had listened, I would have bought. I'd be a millionaire today, right? It's just that I heard him talking about freedom, more libertarian stuff,' recalled engineer Leo.

Julio Manna said he has a video ready about Daniel Fraga that he will release soon, where he will use the YouTuber to explain how it is possible to disappear from the system.

At the end of the recollection, Engineer Leo asked someone to make a movie about Daniel Fraga in the future, since 'he is a national hero.' Leo also hinted at the possibility of having received Fraga in his home.

Historical video: Daniel Fraga worked with Linux servers and was an atheist

In a 2012 video, Daniel Fraga was one of the guests for the Philosophical Debate segment on Engineer Leo's channel, which was still called 'Consoles and Games Brazil'. Besides Fraga, YouTubers Jayson Rosa (Casando O Verbo), Marcelluz Gamer, and Rolandinho Br (infinitely) participated, who talked for a little over an hour about religion and their opinions.

In the chat, Daniel already presented himself as a libertarian and YouTuber, but confessed that his profession consists of working with Linux servers.

Moreover, the debate about religion showed that Fraga maintained an Atheist position, even commenting that 'it is impossible to prove that God does not exist.'

The debate, however, did not mention bitcoin at any moment. In December of that year, Fraga was taking the internet by storm with his first video called 'Bitcoin be Praised', a critique of the phrase 'God be praised' that appears on coins issued by the Brazilian central bank.

In 2012, the currency was worth about $15.00 per unit, and since the dollar rate at the time was R$2.00, with only R$30.00 a person could acquire one Bitcoin, which in 2025 costs R$660 thousand, with the dollar at R$5.61.
