Mr. Hoang Nam Tien, Vice Chairman of the University Council - FPT University suddenly passed away at 4:10 PM on July 31 due to a stroke and cardiac arrest. He was 56 years old.

Mr. Tien was born in 1969 in Hanoi. He joined FPT in 1993 and was considered an important factor contributing to the success of the corporation.

He held many important positions at FPT, including Chairman of FPT Software and FPT Telecom.

Mr. Tien was known as a manager, a technology expert, a consultant in startup activities, and a beloved speaker.
