What Is Bonk?
LetsBONK is part of the Bonk ecosystem, along with BONKBot and the BONK memecoin.
BONK is a Solana-based dog themed memecoin, similar to Dogecoin or Shiba Inu. BONK was launched in December 2022 during the bear market when SOL was $11 each. 50% of BONK’s total supply was airdropped to various communities throughout the Solana ecosystem.
BONK is one of the original and largest memecoin communities within the Solana ecosystem, eventually securing a major partnership with Raydium to create LetsBONK, which allows them to go from being a memecoin project into a project with real utility through the LetsBONK launchpad.
