Ten years ago today, the Ethereum mainnet went live.
It wasn't much to look at—just a "World Computer" in its infancy. There was no DeFi, no NFTs, no DAOs, no Layer 2s. Just a bold idea and a few lines of code.
A decade later, that idea has blossomed into a global, decentralized economy with trillions of dollars in value secured. It has given birth to new forms of art, finance, and governance.
From a simple whitepaper to a global settlement layer, it's been an incredible journey. Happy 10th Birthday, Ethereum!
