What is Lagrange?
Lagrange is a pioneering infrastructure platform in the field of Zero-Knowledge (ZK), designed to be a 'universal prover' – a versatile verification engine for all blockchain applications, AI, and beyond.
This is the first AVS (Actively Validated Service) on EigenLayer – a prominent restaking platform on Ethereum. Lagrange leverages security from Ethereum's restaking system to provide ZK proof generation services in a decentralized manner, scaling flexibly and optimizing performance.

1. ZK Prover Network
This is a fully decentralized network of ZK provers, consisting of over 85 operators on EigenLayer. The system is designed to be modular, with multiple subnetworks serving different proofing needs.
Specifically, resource distribution is coordinated by the DARA mechanism (Double Auction Resource Allocation) – a dual auction system that helps balance the interests between requesters and providers, prevents collusion, and increases resource utilization efficiency.
2. ZK Coprocessor
The ZK Coprocessor is a tool that allows for complex SQL queries on blockchain data, with the output being verifiable proofs. The data is indexed, reorganized in a ZK-friendly manner, and then the query is processed in a zkMapReduce model (inspired by Google's MapReduce).
Results are packaged into ZK proofs, allowing smart contracts to verify without the need for intermediaries or bridges – even enabling safe cross-chain data queries.
3. DeepProve – zkML solution
DeepProve is an important extension of Lagrange, providing zkML solutions – allowing verification of AI model outputs through ZK proofs. This is particularly useful for AI applications requiring high reliability such as:
