(I am 18 years old, and I am at a crossroads — where to go next?)
At the beginning of 2023, when I was 15, I borrowed a little over $2,000 from my father.
There was no income, there was no clear plan. There was only confidence that bitcoin at ~$16,000 was an opportunity that shouldn't be missed.
I bought $BTC and just held.
No trading, no futures, no leverage — just intuitive holding.
When the price reached ~$70,000, I started selling in parts.
In the end, the balance was about $13,000+.
At 16, it seemed like a huge amount of money and confirmation that it was all worth it.
Then ordinary life began
Now I have $7,200.
The rest went: part to the family, part for everyday needs, part just for living.
I didn't work and earned nothing, but the money was going somewhere — not to nowhere, but to normal human things.
I didn't spend thoughtlessly, I just didn't build a earning system.
What I understood:
1. One lucky move does not make you a professional.
2. Having money is not yet a step forward if there is no strategy.
3. 18 is the perfect time to engage and learn to act consciously.
Now I have $7,200 and many questions:
• What to do next? Futures, P2P, hold?
• How to learn and not lose everything in an attempt to 'understand the market'?
• Is it worth saving or better to rotate capital wisely?
I don't pretend to be a genius.
I honestly admit: I was lucky once — but the second time without knowledge and a system may not happen.
From this moment I want to delve in, learn, try, and share everything openly:
and my successes and mistakes.
💬 I am open to suggestions, ideas, and participation in projects.
If you have experience — write to me, I read everything.
If you are also searching — let's go together. I will share how I am going this path from scratch.
🔁 Support with a repost if you also had a moment when you realized: 'money is not the goal, but just a tool'.
And write in the comments: what would you do with $7,200 at 18 years old?
