BounceBit, as a CeDeFi (a fusion of centralized and decentralized finance) infrastructure project originating in Asia, has aimed at bridging the significant gap between traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi) since its inception. The project is built on the security of Bitcoin and creatively constructs a re-staking ecosystem that supports diversified yield generation. Through its unique 'hybrid staking mechanism', BounceBit allows users (especially institutional clients) to introduce real-world assets (RWA) and mainstream tokenized assets from the West (such as BlackRock's BUIDL) as yield-generating settlement tools into the blockchain ecosystem, without sacrificing the security or liquidity of the assets.

In terms of technical architecture, BounceBit has constructed a 'dual-pillar system': on one hand, a re-staking infrastructure based on Bitcoin that provides a secure foundation for various re-staking products; on the other hand, the BounceBit Layer 1 public chain as a demonstration application, which innovatively proposes the 'hybrid staking concept', allowing validators to stake both BTC and the native BounceBit token BB, achieving a technological integration of native Bitcoin security and complete EVM compatibility.
