Imagine if 1 Bitcoin is equivalent to USD 1 million—a scenario that was once just a dream, now a serious discussion. In this situation, to pay off the entire national debt of USD 548 billion, Indonesia would only need 548,000 BTC. That is less than 2.6% of the total global Bitcoin supply (21 million BTC). Numerically, this seems much more reasonable than before. But the question is: is it possible for Indonesia to actually gather half a million BTC in a world that is increasingly 'thirsty' for Bitcoin?
If countries start using BTC to settle debts, will this change the global financial order? Can Bitcoin replace the dollar as the primary means of payment between countries?
And the most pressing question: if Indonesia can settle its debts with just 2.6% of the world's BTC... who will be the first to control the rest?
📣 In your opinion, will the price of BTC really break through USD 1 million? Or is this just a digital dream?
