Binance announces the global suspension of services for extraordinary updates in August 2025
July 28, 2025 – Binance announces that, as part of a major technological renewal and infrastructure enhancement plan, the platform will implement a total suspension of services starting from Thursday, August 1, 2025, at 00:00 (UTC) until September 1, 2025.
During this period, all services will be temporarily unavailable, including:
Deposits and withdrawals
Spot and futures trading
P2P services, Earn, Staking, and NFT
Binance Pay and Binance Card
Access to the mobile app and the website
Objectives of the updates:
Improvement of the performance of the matching engines
Adoption of a modular architecture for decentralized services
Advanced integration with layer-2 and tokenized assets
Strengthening account security and global compliance
All user funds will remain safe during the intervention. Binance will implement multiple backups, internal auditing, and progressive notifications for the restoration of services.
