Part One: Opening and Introduction

(Host Dr. Ken):

Good evening, everyone! Welcome to continue participating in our special program of the 【Non-Small Number Live 100】 Top 100 KOLs——Runesoul special session! I am your host, Dr. Ken. Today, we are very honored because this is not just an ordinary Space, but an important warm-up for the upcoming large-scale conference in Hong Kong on July 29. The 'Web3 Leadership Summit' co-hosted by Runesoul and five major institutions is highly anticipated, and today we will unveil a corner of its mysterious veil in advance.

Today, I am co-hosting with my successor host, Jingyi. Let's say hello to everyone.

(Co-host Jingyi):

Hello everyone, I am Jingyi. Thank you very much for Dr. Ken's invitation to participate in today's Top 100 KOL Space Runesoul special session.

(Host Dr. Ken):

Today, we are honored to invite Runesoul's Chinese community representative Sky, along with three KOLs deeply involved in the crypto track: July, Grandpa Niu, and Xiao Wu. Let's give our guests the warmest applause!

(Guests give brief self-introductions)

(Host Dr. Ken):

Today's theme is very grand—how Runesoul will redefine the future of GameFi 4.0 and SocialFi. Before delving into the discussion, let's first watch an official promotional video to intuitively feel the world that Runesoul is building.

(--- Play Runesoul official promotional video ---)

(Host Dr. Ken):

It is very shocking. After watching the short film, it feels like a AAA masterpiece. The visuals are exquisite, and the quality is very high. This is thanks to Runesoul's team, who have a profound background in game production, bringing a product that was already mature in Web2 into Web3, which is a very good phenomenon. Well, the community's enthusiasm has been ignited, and we officially enter today's AMA session.

Part Two: Host Q&A Session

Question 1: Why did Runesoul choose to host a large-scale offline summit with so many top institutions at this time? What does the summit's strong advocacy for 'GameFi 4.0' and 'Social GameFi' specifically mean for Runesoul?

(Runesoul representative Sky):

This question touches on the original intention of our summit and the future of the industry. We must acknowledge that the GameFi 1.0 and 2.0 eras, centered around 'Play-to-Earn', opened the door to Web3 gaming but also exposed its fundamental bottleneck—the fragility of economic models and neglect of game playability, leading to the widespread phenomenon of 'death spirals'. The entire industry stands at a crossroads, urgently needing a profound evolution.

It is against this backdrop that we propose the concept of 'GameFi 4.0'. We believe that GameFi 4.0 is no longer a one-dimensional gold mining game; it is a three-dimensional, sustainable ecosystem. Its core consists of three pillars:

  1. High-quality gameplay: the foundation for attracting and retaining users.

  2. Sustainable economic model: the backbone that guarantees the long-term prosperity of the ecosystem.

  3. True digital ownership and community governance: the soul that empowers players and fosters consensus.

To achieve these three points, the core breakthrough is the 'Social GameFi' we proposed. It means that social interaction is no longer an accessory to the game but a core element deeply integrated into gameplay and economic cycles. Players' social relationships, reputation, and collaboration skills will all become part of their core assets.

Therefore, this Hong Kong summit is not just a launch event for Runesoul; it is an invitation to the entire industry—we hope to gather the world's top minds to jointly establish standards and build consensus for 'GameFi 4.0' and 'Social GameFi'. Runesoul is honored to play the role of a pioneer and guide in this new wave.

Question 2: Compared to other projects, what is Runesoul's greatest differentiation advantage? How does it specifically implement the concept of 'GameFi 4.0' through NFT ownership, P2E economic models, and social systems?

(Runesoul representative Sky):

I would like to answer from three levels: gameplay, ownership, and sociality, which is precisely the trinity of our practice of the GameFi 4.0 concept.

First, in terms of gameplay, we return to the essence of gaming—fun. Runesoul is a well-crafted 3D action ARPG with visuals, impact, and strategic depth comparable to Web2 masterpieces. We believe that only when players stay for fun does everything else matter. This is the foundation for attracting hundreds of millions of traditional gamers into the Web3 world.

Secondly, in terms of ownership, we use NFT technology to ensure that players' cards, heroes, and other core assets truly belong to them and can be freely disposed of as digital assets. They are not just props that can be sold for money but symbolize the time, wisdom, and emotions invested by players, representing their identity and glory in the metaverse.

Third, our most core differentiation advantage lies in sociality. Runesoul's social system is not a simple chat box. It is deeply integrated with core gameplay elements like guild battles, world bosses, and PVP arenas. Your friends and your alliance will directly determine your gaming experience, combat power, and even economic benefits. We create a strong social environment where 'no brothers, no game'.

It is precisely this organic combination of 'fun games' attracting people, 'real assets' retaining people, and 'deep social' uniting people that constitutes our complete interpretation of Social GameFi and is also a solid staircase leading us to the 'second dimension metaverse'.

Question 3: Can you explain in simple terms how Runesoul's economic model works? How will it avoid the common death spiral in traditional P2E games?

(Runesoul representative Sky):

Absolutely correct; the economic model is the lifeline of all GameFi projects. The core concepts we designed can be summarized in two words: 'isolation' and 'cycle'.

Simply put, we have built a dual-layer value system. The in-game token RST can be understood as 'gold coins' in the game world. It is mainly generated through players' participation in daily gaming activities (such as completing tasks and dungeons) and is primarily used for in-game consumption (like upgrading cards and purchasing items). We control the supply and demand of RST through precise algorithms, ensuring it mainly serves the economic cycle within the game, thus safeguarding the gaming experience of ordinary players from extreme external financial speculation. This is 'isolation'.

The other two tokens $RG and $RUC are more like the 'stocks' and 'dividends' of the entire Runesoul ecosystem. They are deeply bound to more advanced gameplay (such as hash collisions), community governance voting rights, and key node earnings in the ecosystem, primarily aimed at deep participants and contributors with long-term confidence in the ecosystem. The value of RST can flow to $RG/$RUC through specific channels, forming a healthy value 'cycle'.

The most critical point is that we have designed a multi-layered, systematic deflation and destruction mechanism for all tokens, such as upgrade consumption, transaction friction, and event burning. This ensures that the total supply of tokens is continuously decreasing, and their value is fundamentally related to the prosperity of the entire ecosystem, fundamentally breaking the 'mine-sell-withdraw' death spiral.

Question 4: The guest lineup for the summit is extremely luxurious, including representatives from top institutions like a16z and Sequoia Capital. Is it solely the Runesoul project itself that attracts their participation?

(Runesoul representative Sky):

Runesoul is certainly a major reason for their attraction, but on a deeper level, it is the collective desire and high consensus of the entire industry for a new direction. These top VCs and project parties have the keenest senses. They, like us, clearly see the limitations of the GameFi 1.0 model and the huge opportunities hidden behind it. They came to Hong Kong because they also see the enormous potential contained in the 'Social GameFi' track and agree that GameFi 4.0 is an inevitable direction of evolution.

Therefore, rather than saying it is a one-sided invitation from Runesoul, it is more like a 'mutual pursuit' of the entire industry. Runesoul, as a pioneer of the new paradigm, provides a concrete and high-quality practical case; the arrival of these industry leaders injects strong capital, resources, and ecological support into this new paradigm. This summit is more like a platform, allowing everyone to exchange ideas, find partners, and layout the future at this historic turning point. We are honored to build this stage and embark on a new chapter with all industry giants.

Question 5: Looking to the future, what exciting plans does Runesoul have for product development, community building, and ecological cooperation from the second half of 2025 to 2026?

(Runesoul representative Sky):

The Hong Kong summit is indeed a new starting point; it marks our transition from the 'building' phase to the 'explosion' phase. Our roadmap is very clear and grand.

In the second half of 2025, our focus will be on rapidly enriching the playability and social depth of the game. You can expect the launch of world bosses, which will require cooperation from all players; the guild system and guild battles closely related to the Social GameFi concept will also be officially launched; at the same time, the release of new heroes and multi-chain deployment is steadily progressing.

Looking ahead to 2026, we will move towards a more ambitious goal. The achievement system and esports collaboration will further expand the boundaries of gaming. Our grandest goal is to gradually realize community-driven DAO governance. We hope that through the improvement of technology and mechanisms, we can ultimately hand over Runesoul back to the community, allowing every passionate player to participate in ecosystem decision-making and share in its growth dividends. Our pace will not stop; the entire team is full of confidence.

Part Three: KOL Q&A Session

KOL Question 1 (Crypto. July): Hello, the guest list includes former GameFi kings like StepN and Axie Infinity. After they have educated the market, what do you think is the biggest challenge Runesoul faces in user acquisition and community cold start? What unique strategies will you adopt to break through?

(Runesoul representative Sky):

This question is very critical. We hold great respect for industry pioneers like Axie and StepN, but we clearly recognize that Runesoul is addressing different issues. Our breakthrough strategy is 'dual-track parallelism':

The first track is aimed at the vast Web2 gaming world. Our core weapon is 'high-quality gameplay'. We will attract the hundreds of millions of players who love high-quality games but are not yet familiar with blockchain through traditional game market channels, leveraging visual effects comparable to AAA titles and deep ARPG gameplay. We want them to come in first and stay because it's fun.

The second track is to deeply cultivate the core values of Web3. Our core weapon is 'strong social belonging'. For existing users familiar with Web3, they are already tired of simple 'mining-withdrawing-selling' and are seeking community belonging and true on-chain identity. We will build a highly sticky and loyal core community through a unique Social GameFi core, such as high-return guild cooperation and influential community status.

In summary, it's about breaking the circle with 'gameplay' and building walls with 'sociality'. We are not competing with our predecessors on the same dimension but creating our own user ecosystem in a new dimension.

KOL Question 2 (I am your Grandpa Niu): The summit theme is 'Social GameFi', but many projects only put social aspects on chatting and teaming up. How will Runesoul truly integrate 'Social' into the Fi (financial) cycle to make players' social behaviors generate quantifiable economic value, thus building a solid moat?

(Runesoul representative Sky):

This question is very professional and hits the core of Social GameFi. Most GameFi social interactions are quite 'superficial', while our solution is to 'assetize' and 'monetize' the 'social relationships' themselves. Specifically, there are several directions:

First, guild economy. In our future guild system, guilds will operate as economic entities. By completing high-difficulty team challenges, guilds can earn rare NFT or token rewards, and how these rewards are distributed and used for guild development will be decided collectively by guild members. A strong and united guild will have members whose average earnings far exceed that of 'lone wolf' players.

The second is social influence mining. This is a concept we are exploring. In the future, a player's reputation, credibility, and influence within the community (for example, if they are a respected strategy expert) can all be quantified. In team formation, transactions, and even certain profit distributions, high-reputation players may receive additional bonuses or higher weights.

Third, team collaboration bonuses. The game will design some top-level dungeons or bosses, and the exceptional rewards dropped must be obtained through seamless cooperation among different professions. The scarcity of this reward itself is the highest recognition of the value of 'successful social collaboration'.

So, in Runesoul, your friends, your guild, and your reputation are no longer virtual relationships but part of your real, return-generating 'on-chain assets'. This is our moat.

KOL Question 3 (Xiao Wu): Besides playing games, how will developers and builders participate in the Runesoul ecosystem in the future? Is there a plan to launch an SDK, open the platform, or implement a developer incentive program?

(Runesoul representative Sky):

This is a very visionary question and precisely the core of our 'second dimension metaverse' concept. For ecological construction, we have a very clear 'two-step' strategy: the short term is 'content co-creation', and the long term is 'ecosystem co-building'.

In the short term, we will vigorously encourage and incentivize core players and content creators to participate in our ecosystem through programs like the 'Product Experience Officer Program' and 'Global Ambassador Program'. Whether it's deep game testing, high-quality strategy writing, or interesting community event organization, we will provide generous rewards.

In the long term, our ultimate goal is openness and composability. This is consistent with DAO governance in our roadmap. As the ecosystem matures and stabilizes, we plan to gradually open some game editors, API interfaces, or even SDKs, allowing and incentivizing global developers to create new gameplay, scenes, props, and even independent DApps under the grand worldview and artistic framework of Runesoul. We hope Runesoul will eventually become a platform like 'Roblox', where we provide the underlying technology, assets, and traffic support, and establish a fair revenue-sharing mechanism with developers. Our door to the metaverse will gradually open for true contributors and creators.

Part Four: Summary and Conclusion

(Host Jingyi):

Time flies. We have talked from GameFi 1.0 all the way to GameFi 4.0, from P2E to Play-to-Social. Runesoul builds on high-quality games, gives assets back to players through NFTs, and unites everyone through social interaction—this sounds more like a revolution. On July 29, at the Hong Kong Web3 Leadership Summit, we will see the truth offline.

(Host Dr. Ken):
