The extratropical cyclone will form from the low-pressure center that is acting this Sunday over Rio Grande do Sul and is bringing rain throughout the state, including high volumes in some regions. The low pressure will move towards the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Rio Grande do Sul, and will begin to give rise to the cyclone between the end of this Sunday and the beginning of Monday, when the process of cyclogenesis, that is, the formation of the cyclone, will begin. Therefore, the wind will start to gain strength on the night of this Sunday in the Campanha and in southern Rio Grande do Sul, but it will reach its maximum intensity in the south and east of Rio Grande do Sul throughout Monday with the strongest gusts in the second half of the day, when they are expected to be intense. The area of strong winds due to the cyclone will extend this Monday to the east of Santa Catarina, to the east of the state of Paraná, and to the east of the state of São Paulo with stronger gusts in the southern coastal region of Santa Catarina. The strong winds will reach even the city of São Paulo and the Greater São Paulo region during this Monday with very strong northwest gusts. The strongest gusts are expected to occur in the Serra do Mar section in the state of São Paulo. Part of Rio de Janeiro may also experience strong winds.
