#US-EUTradeAgreement

✅ Highlights of the agreement:

US President Donald Trump and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen reached an agreement to impose a 15% tariff on most European goods imported into the United States, instead of the threatened 30% tariff.

The EU agreed to invest $600 billion in the US economy and purchase $750 billion in US energy (natural gas, oil, and nuclear fuel), in addition to military equipment.

Some strategic goods, such as aircraft parts, semiconductor equipment, and some agricultural and chemical products, were completely eliminated under the terms of the agreement.

Despite the progress, the 50% tariff on US steel and aluminum remains in place and has not been reduced in the current deal.
