When you are scammed in a P2P transaction on Binance, you need to act immediately. Here are the steps to take to handle the situation:

✅ 1. DO NOT press "Money received" if you actually have not received the money

If you are selling cryptocurrency, do not press confirm if you have not received the money in your bank account.

P2P scammers often use fake money transfer documents or third parties to transfer money on your behalf to trick you into pressing confirm.

✅ 2. Report immediately to Binance – open a transaction dispute

👉 How to do it:

Go to the Binance app → P2P → Order history → Select transaction → Press "Dispute".

Select a reason (e.g., "I did not receive the money" or "This is a scam").

Upload evidence: screenshots of bank account, chat content, fake money transfer receipts (if any).

Binance will have a dedicated P2P support team to handle disputes within 1–3 working days.

✅ 3. Contact Binance Support immediately

Access: https://www.binance.com/en/chat

Send the order ID and incident details.

Provide specific evidence: chat logs, fake money transfer images, bank accounts.

✅ 4. If it involves bank transfers – report to the police

If someone has tricked you into transferring money, you can:

Print the money transfer receipt.

Record the recipient's account number and take a photo of the transaction.

Submit a report to the local police station or economic police department.

In some cases, the police may help block the scam account if you report quickly enough.

❌ DO NOT:

Do not send crypto back to strangers if they send private messages via Zalo/Facebook requesting "refund".

Do not trade outside of Binance's P2P platform.
