Last Wednesday, the bank issued an official decision in the capital to suspend the licenses granted to several companies and exchange establishments operating in the local market, based on regulatory and field reports that detected serious violations in their operations.
The decision, numbered (7) for the year 2025, came based on the legal powers granted to the bank governor under the laws of the central bank, exchange operations, and the fight against money laundering and financing terrorism.
The decision confirmed that the licenses were suspended as of the date of its issuance, with a request for all relevant parties to implement it and inform the concerned parties.
