WalletConnect has surpassed over 300 million total connections and more than 47.5 million unique wallets, with 66,500 apps integrated by May 2025, leading to rapid expansion in the ecosystem. Its native token WCT now has 121 million tokens staked, over 49,000 global stakers, and offers up to 22% APY, particularly following its launch on Solana and listings on exchanges like Binance, KuCoin, and Upbit. The WalletConnect Certified program has added ten more wallets in its second round, including Ccontrol, Bifrost, Fireblocks, Rakuten, and Blockchain.com. Looking ahead, smart sessions and on-chain governance via WCT are set to launch in mid-2025 for a more seamless, decentralized web3 experience.
